A documented first-board architecture study for an i.MX 8M Mini-class Linux single-board computer.
A reviewable system, power, memory and interface architecture study for a Linux single-board computer, captured before native schematic completion, procurement or PCB layout.
01Project brief
This page reports the documented state of the work. It does not represent qualification, manufacturing release, or operational deployment unless stated explicitly.
02Notes
A first-board single-board computer carries more architectural risk than later revisions. Memory topology, power sequencing, boot media and the high-speed interfaces each set constraints that are expensive to change after layout. This study captures those decisions in a reviewable package so that the schematic that follows is a refinement of an already-documented architecture, not a draft.
Qualification, manufacturing release and any deployment of the resulting board are explicitly outside the current stage.
03Engineering record
Items below describe what is currently in the architecture package. Anything not listed is treated as not yet decided.
